The Diálogos Pendientes y Emergentes (Pending and Emerging Dialogues) space is a joint initiative of five organizations working on gender, sexuality, and reproductive justice issues in Latin America: the Sexuality and Politics Watch (SPW), Akahatá, Promsex, Puentes, and Synergia.
Created in 2022, the forum is a space for ongoing, plural debate open to activists and researchers in the field of gender, politics, and human rights.
The meetings in 2025 focused on the dynamics of de-democratization. The webinar “Inhabiting the Crack: strategies of resistance in the face of authoritarianisms”, held on August 21st, focused on the need expressed at the previous meeting to learn about experiences of resistance and opposition to authoritarian and anti-democratic policies.
Below, you will find summarised versions of the four interventions. There are subtitles available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
