Achievements in 2013 in Latin America and Caribbean

The LGBTTTI Coalition Working at the OAS highlighted the advances achieved in 2013, such as the approval of the Inter-American Conventions Against Racism and Against All Forms of Discrimination and Intolerance – including sexual orientation and gender identit – and the creation of a thematic Rapporteur on the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people, who will take office in next February.
